BALTECH CULTURAL EXCHANGE

Baltech cultural exchange is meant to partner Student Unions or partner university faculty student unions.

Baltech cultural exchange is a great opportunity to experience your neighbouring countries, learn about your study field and build connections to other technical students. In this two-way exchange two student groups visit each other. Both groups act as hosts and guests, thus building briges between  the two student organizations.

The exchange should include some academical elements, like company or laboratory visits, but also non-formal events to support cultural understanding.

The hosting group is responsible for designing the program according to the partner’s interests. The hosting group will also cover accommodation, three meals a day and local transportation for the visitors – and that’s what they will be offered when visiting the partner. The visiting group is responsible only for covering travel expenses and personal needs.

Through Baltech, the student groups can apply for funding to cover the hosting and travel expenses. Each student group can be granted 100-300 euros. The student groups are encouraged to think of innovative ways of saving money and supported in applying money from other sources.
