Linköping Institute of Technology (LiTH) has created a unique profile through the introduction of disciplines such as Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science and Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. The Institute continues to develop engineering education in accordance with current needs, most notably through the venture of applying a problem-based learning approach in the M.Sc. programme in Information Technology.

Linköping Institute of Technology offers 26 study programmes, 19 of which lead to the Swedish equivalent of a Master of Science degree and seven of which lead to a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Engineering.
